- Never ride under the influence: Keep your reaction time sharp for the whole
commute — plan to arrive calm and focused for your shift.
- Secure your scooter: Use a high-security lock at the FC bike racks;
warehouse districts see high turnover of commuter traffic.
Route & battery management
- Check charge before leaving: A typical 20 km/h commute uses roughly
10–15 Wh/km. Keep a 20% buffer for detours and weather.
- Use the charging-point layer (Menu → Charging points) to find live public
charge spots along the Werne–Dortmund corridor via OpenStreetMap.
- Plan for the weather: Rain and wind raise energy use and braking distance.
